The Uniform

The East Manchester Academy has very high standards of dress, with a uniform that has been designed to reflect a 21st Century professional working and learning environment.

The Uniform consists of a designer dark navy blue jacket with the Academy logo, a white shirt, a tie with the Academy logo, charcoal grey or black tailored trousers/skirt, dark socks and black shoes. Pupils may wear a V-neck grey Academy sleeveless jumper under their jacket. The Sports Kit is part of the overall uniform cost.

An Academy overcoat will be given to all Year 7 pupils at no cost to parents / carers.

The Academy uniform - Jacket, Tie and Sports Kit may be ordered from May 17th through the Academy. It will cost £55. All other parts of the uniform may be bought from local stores.

Pupils are expected to bring a hardwearing bag to school. Lockers are available throughout the Academy.

The Career Sixth Form

Dress Code is office smart. There will be a professional, mature business-like working atmosphere in The Career Sixth Form. Therefore, we expect our students to be dressed in clothes appropriate to an office environment.
