Clubs and Societies

We place great value on extra-curricular activities and encourage all pupils to participate on a regular basis. There will be a wide range of activities and plenty of opportunities to participate in clubs, societies and sport.

There will be an Academy Council and an International Green Group. Some of the wide range of clubs and societies that may be offered include:

Design and Create

Web design, Podcasting, Animation, Mobile Technology, Gourmet Cooking, Gardening Club, Multimedia and Internet Technology, Theatre Set Design, Gaming Technology, Fashion Design and 3D Art.

Perform

Art Club, Costume Design, Stage Makeup, Photography, Dance and Drama, Choir, Guitar, Steel Pans and African drumming.

Sports

Clubs including football, rugby, hockey, basketball, BMX, cycling, netball, cricket and swimming with practices or matches after academic study nearly every day.

The Academy will make full use of all the Sportcity facilities on its doorstep.
