The East Manchester Academy

Our Year 7 pupils will be welcomed and cared for, nurtured and inspired in a safe, stimulating and vibrant community environment. We welcome children of all faiths and cultures and will ensure that no child will be left behind.

The East Manchester Academy will open for 180 Year 7 pupils and 60 Post 16 students in September 2010 and build year by year to maximum capacity of 900 (11-16) and 120 (16-19) in 2015.

The Academy is a free, non-selective, co-educational and independent Community High School. We are a fully inclusive, international school that values and celebrates diversity.

For admission into Year 7 for 2011, please complete the Manchester City Council’s School Admissions Form when it becomes available in September 2011. The  Standard Application Form (SAF) will be available from the Manchester City Council.  Parents/carers will also be able to make their application online.
